This week I was decided through the mile high stack of mail that has been piling up on our counter for the past month. Bed bath and beyond circulars, final notices, medical bills, and hate letters threatening us within an inch of our lives from debt collectors made up the bulk of the stack. I came across a flyer from verizon that caught my eye and decided to give it a second glance before hocking it into the trash.

Apparently verizon is having some crazy sale until december 1st allowing certain customers to upgrade early (usually you have to wait two years from the date you signed your contract.) My husband and I had just upgraded after our contracts ended in August, so this was AMAZING.

So I billed 200$ to our next phone bill and had the new blackberry storm shipped to us pronto. I havent seen a storm go for less than $450 on ebay and after two days my auction is already more than what I paid.

Maybe God doesnt hate me after all.

Im also selling my blackberry and both of my (very expensive) camera in order to downgrade to some less awesome technologyand thus far have made over a thousand dollars. Granted, I still have to buy a new phone and a new camera, but I should be able to get the job done with that amount of money.

Thank God for ebay, junkmail, and lust-driven consumerism.
